Junk Removal From Canonsburg's Western Neighbor

Chartiers Township spreads across about 24 square miles of Washington County on the west side of Canonsburg and around the borough of Houston. JUNKED. is in the township all the time, whether the job is in Meadow Lands, a newer plan or out on a rural road.

We take away furniture, appliances and clutter, empty out sheds and barns, and handle complete cleanouts. You point, we lift, load and clean up.

Farmland, Fairgrounds and New Plans

The township is named for Peter Chartier, a trapper of French and Shawnee parentage who founded a Shawnee town here in 1734, and it was split off from Cecil Township in 1790. It’s widely known as the home of the Washington County Fairgrounds and the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum, and coal and farming shaped it for generations.

Much of the township is still rural, while newer developments such as Arden Mills, the Ridgeview Plan and The Summit keep going up. So one day we’re hauling old equipment and scrap out of a barn, and the next we’re picking up moving boxes and spare furniture from a new house.
