Renovation Debris, Gone

Kitchen remodels, bathroom tear-outs and basement finishes all make a lot of waste: drywall, lumber, old cabinets, tile, carpet and boxes from new materials. Leaving it in the garage or the yard slows the next trade down.

JUNKED. hauls construction and renovation debris for homeowners, contractors and property managers around Canonsburg and the South Hills. Call at the end of the job, or whenever the pile gets in the way.

Debris We Haul

We take:

  • Drywall, plaster and lath
  • Lumber, trim, doors and framing scraps
  • Old cabinets, countertops and vanities
  • Tile, flooring and carpet tear-outs
  • Concrete, brick and block (smaller amounts; heavy loads take more trips)
  • Roofing shingles (see the note below)
  • Metal, pipe, wire and ductwork
  • Packaging, cardboard and plastic wrap

Older roofing, flooring, pipe wrap and plaster can contain asbestos. We can’t take asbestos-containing materials. If your house is older and you’re not sure, have it tested before demolition.

Keeping Debris Removal Efficient

Tips for homeowners and contractors:

  • Pile debris in one spot close to the driveway if you can.
  • Keep concrete and brick separate. They’re heavy and change how we load.
  • Pull nails and screws out of boards where it’s easy, or turn them face-down.
  • Don’t mix in paint, solvents, adhesives or other chemicals.
  • For longer projects, call when a phase wraps up and the debris is ready to go.

Where Construction Debris Goes

Some construction waste has another life. Clean lumber offcuts, usable cabinets and leftover tile can sometimes go to a neighbor, a reuse shop or a donation center if you want to try that first.

The rest, from drywall to torn-out flooring, we load and haul off so the next trade can get to work.

We handle construction debris removal in Peters Township, Cecil Township, Upper St. Clair and South Fayette, plus every town in our service area, about 15 miles around Canonsburg.
