Out With the Leaning Fence

Fences don’t fail all at once. First a post leans, then a section blows over in a storm, then the gate stops latching. If you’re replacing it or just want an open yard again, the old fence has to come out first, posts and all.

Fence removal is part of our light demolition service. JUNKED. takes down the panels, pulls posts and hauls the whole thing away.

Fences We Remove

We take down:

  • Wood privacy and picket fences
  • Chain-link fencing, rails and fabric
  • Vinyl and PVC fencing
  • Split-rail and farm fencing
  • Gates, hardware and posts
  • Lattice, trellises and garden fencing
  • Fallen sections and storm-damaged fencing

Posts set in concrete? Tell us roughly how many and send a photo, and we’ll confirm.

Before We Start

A few things help:

  • Know where your property line is, especially if you share the fence with a neighbor. Talk with them first.
  • Clear plants, decorations and anything hanging on the fence.
  • Tell us about pets. Your yard will be open until the new fence goes in.
  • Call PA One Call (811) before any digging if new posts are going in.

After the Fence Comes Down

Chain-link, metal posts, vinyl and wood, painted or not, all go in the same load. You don’t need to separate anything or cut it into short pieces.

Once the panels and posts are gone, the line is clear for your installer, a new garden bed or just more lawn.

We handle fence removal in South Park, Finleyville, Heidelberg and Scott Township, plus every town in our service area, about 15 miles around Canonsburg.
