The township takes its name from Strabane in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Today it’s one of the busier parts of the county, home to Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, which started as a harness track in 1963, plus a long run of shops and offices along the Route 19 and I-79 corridor. It also holds Wylandville and part of Eighty Four.
