Finleyville is one of the smallest boroughs in Washington County, about a fifth of a square mile sitting inside the west-northwest corner of Union Township. JUNKED. drives over from Canonsburg through Peters Township, so the borough and the township roads around it are a regular stop for us.
Tell us what you want gone, from a single sofa to a packed outbuilding, and we take care of the rest. We carry it out, load it on our truck and sweep the spot clean before we go.
Finleyville grew up where Brownsville Road, now Route 88, crossed the old road from Cox’s Fort to Catfish Camp, the settlement that became the city of Washington. It was called Rowgalley until a wave of Scots-Irish settlers, several of them Finleys, arrived, and the town ended up named for John Finley.
The borough is compact, but the Union Township land around it opens up into roomier lots and back roads. That gives us a mix of jobs here: emptying a borough house for a sale, clearing a garage or a shed full of old tools, and hauling away what’s left after a family has sorted through a relative’s things.
Residential Junk Removal: Garages, basements, sheds and single furniture pickups in Finleyville and Union Township.
Property Cleanouts: Estate and pre-sale cleanouts for borough homes and township properties.
Light Demolition: Old sheds, decks, fencing and swing sets taken apart and hauled off.
Appliance Removal: Washers, dryers, chest freezers and old ranges removed.
Commercial Junk Removal: Small businesses along Route 88 clearing out old fixtures or stock.
