Monongahela, known locally as Mon City, sits on the Monongahela River in eastern Washington County. It’s at the eastern edge of the area JUNKED. covers, roughly 14 miles from Canonsburg in a straight line, so call or text with your address and we’ll confirm we can get to you.
Once we’re booked, the job is simple for you. Point out what goes, and we carry it out, load the truck and clean up behind us.
Monongahela was founded in 1769 where Pigeon Creek meets the river, and it’s considered the oldest settlement in the Monongahela River Valley. It’s one of only two cities in Washington County, and its Main Street carries Routes 88, 136 and 837 through the center of town. Many of its streets are named for Civil War figures such as Lincoln, Grant and Sherman.
In a town with this much history, plenty of houses come with full attics, steep stairs and basements that have held a family’s things for a long time. We do a lot of estate and downsizing cleanouts here, along with rental turnovers and cleanups for small businesses on Main Street.
Property Cleanouts: Estate, downsizing and rental cleanouts in Mon City’s older homes.
Residential Junk Removal: Attic, basement and garage cleanouts, plus single-item pickups.
Commercial Junk Removal: Main Street shops and offices clearing out fixtures or furniture.
Appliance Removal: Old stoves, fridges and washers carried down porch steps and hauled away.
Light Demolition: Small sheds, porches and decks taken down and hauled off.
Monongahela borders New Eagle and Carroll Township, with Forward Township across the river. Monongahela is at the eastern edge of our 15-mile area, so call to confirm your address. Closer to Canonsburg, we serve Eighty Four and Peters Township. See our full service area.
